The accused Thanliandinga (21) of Vaikhawtlang in the Myanmar border Champhai district told the interrogators that he smuggled the contraband through the Mizoram-Myanmar border hamlet of Zokhawthar for selling it in Aizawl, the officials said.
Thanliandinga was booked under section 21 (b) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and sent to judicial custody, they said.
Meanwhile, the state excise department officials, in a joint operation with the BSF seized 10,400 detonators from the Mizoram-Assam border town of Vairengte last night and arrested a 51-year-old woman in this connection, the officials added.
