House leader Lal Thanhawla made obituary references on the demise of the two leaders and opposition Mizo National Front (MNF) leader R Lalthangliana, Zoram Nationalist Party (ZNP) leader Lalduhawma and Mizoram People's Conference (MPC) member Lalthansanga also spoke in the assembly.
They said that both the departed leaders contributed a lot for the welfare of the people of Mizoram in many fields. The assembly observed one-minute silence to pay last respects to the two leaders in the House.
