Lallianmawia said 14,000 tablets of Methamphetamine were seized from a hotel in Aizawl on Wednesday last, while 58,800 tablets were seized from Thingdawl village at the Mizoram-Assam border Kolasib district on Friday last.
He said 50,000 tablets were again seized last night from Zemabawk near Aizawl.
The estimated worth of the seized contraband was at least Rs 3.6 crore, he said adding eight persons including three Myanmarese nationals and one woman were arrested in connection with the seizures and were booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
