AIZAWL, Feb 25 – Strongly criticising the Opposition MNF’s total bandh call on February 25 in the State, the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), Mizoram State unit asked the party to withdraw it immediately. It slammed the MNF Statewide bandh call as students are appearing for their annual examinations.
The NSUI also said that paying of taxes, which the MNF stated is one of the reasons for the bandh call, is an important duty for a true citizens of India. The tax is not for individual or party benefit, rather it is mean for the use of government for the development of its people, NSUI said.
