The final date for one of the mega festivals of the community has been fixed. It will be a two-day event from February 11-12, 2010 .
It may be recalled that Congress-led government in the state had planned for a Guinness Book record for which preparations are still going on.
Following is Chapchar Kut 2010 programme:
Kut Pa (Kut Host): Pu Lal Thanhawla, Chief Minister
Thlengtu (Guest of Honour): Pu P.C.Zoram Sangliana, Art & Culture Minister
Opening song: Salvation Army Band Party
Prayer: Bishop Stephen Rotluanga
Opening of Kut: Hlado by MCO
Besides Khatla YMA’s choir, Cheraw and Tlanglam will be performed by YMA brances. A line-up of popular singers and actors will be performing during this festival, according to official statement.
